You know how sometimes something horrible happens and you just know that the entire world has changed and will never be the same? That’s what happens in “Elememtary, Dear Data”, which doubles down on the malfunctioning holodeck plot from “The Big Goodbye” and cements it in place as a part of Trek. That also goes for Joe Piscopo in “The Outrageous Okona”. Need we say anything else? Plus! Eric doesn’t know the difference between Teri Garr and Teri Hatcher.

-There’s a story told by John Larroquette (who played the lone surviving Klingon in TSFS) about an episode of Night Court in which Teri Hatcher flashed him while wearing a trenchcoat and (allegedly) nothing else. That episode was broadcast the year before Hatcher’s TNG appearance.
I think about that story every time I see her on television and I pray that it’s true.
