Our pairing of episodes this week bring us full circle on the cycle of life. In “Friday’s Child”, a woman gives birth to a premature baby, and in “The Deadly Years”, a woman dies of premature old age. Also! The Klingons and the Romulans come back.

-I’ve been steadily listening to your podcast from the beginning! I quite enjoy it! I’ve been making my own way through the series trying to watch every episode ever. Any time Star Trek pops up on tv, I’m going to be watching it. The Original Series has not been one I have been able to binge watch, so I have finished TNG, DS9 and started VOY while only starting the third season of TOS. I’ve enjoyed your analyses of cultures and motivations, etc., that I usually miss while watching the episodes. It’s almost made me want to give certain episodes another go. I am a little sad that you don’t like Voyager.I was around 10 when I faithfully started watching it, so it’s the one I’m most comfortable with, followed by DS9. Oh well. I’ll have to wait and see.

-Thank you so much! I wouldn’t say we don’t like Voyager (well, Richard might say that!) but it’s just… a lesser show than TNG or DS9. Still enjoyable with a lot to talk about, though!
