Brannon Braga episodes can be a bit of a double-edged sword, and “Timescape” is no exception, what with the cool concept and middling resolution. Meanwhile, “Descent” reimagines TNG as a comic book, because that is what people look for from Star Trek, we guess?

I liked ‘Timescape’ a good bit, though, as Eric noted, how they recovered from some of the "this looks bad" situations was contrived. At the beginning of the season, Eric told Richard that there weren’t be many more really good episodes, but I think that there have been quite a few.
‘Descent’ on the other hand … oh my god … I can’t believe how bad it was. I had no interest in watching Part II other than to know what you guys are talking about next week. It is like they took a script from another show and changed the names to TNG characters.

-I agree actually, season 6 was a lot better than I remembered it being. I’m curious to see if season 7 is the same.
